Hi, my name is Brittany Schwickert I am a mother of two boys who are 3 and 4.  I also am a caretaker for my papa for about 7 years now who is 91.  He has diabetes, and Alzheimer’s – dementia which can be sometimes difficult to deal with.  I have been a licensed cosmetologist for 14 years.  I love doing hair but with 2 young kids I wanted a more stable career.  I have a lot of family members in the medical field ranging from doctors, nurses, emt, family who has worked in medical records, and also administrative positions.  I was very nervous to start school because I had been out for 14 yrs.  I absolutely LOVE Allen School.  They are always there to help.  They can help anywhere from personal questions, to tech problems, and anything school related.  This environment makes you feel like you have a family who is going through the process with you.  The live classes are awesome you can ask the teacher a question right there and then while your learning or say you have a question after class you may call them or email them and they are always quick to respond.  My class mates have also been a huge support we have a Allen school Facebook page and are constantly conversing with one another.  It’s like one big happy family there helping you through your journey.  Choosing Allen school was one of the best decisions I have ever made.
